Over the last few weeks I have been learning how to set stones in a bezel and make a necklace from silver wire.

The above pendant is based on a fused glass cabochon made from dichroic glass. This is set into a silver bezel with silver backing. The necklace is made from 1.2 mm diameter silver wire. Each twisted section of the necklace was made individually and then jump rings added in between.

I am particularly pleased with the clasp which I managed to twist and produce a shape in keeping with the rest of the necklace.

My next silversmithing project is to make a bracelet, again using fused glass cabochons as the basis.
