My name is Steve Sims. During the period leading up to retirement from my job as a chemical engineer in 2020 I attended a number of courses run by local glass artists and gained a passion for the craft of glass fusing, combining as it does art and science. The challenge of creating a fused glass or silver piece of jewellery or art fascinates me and so I decided to develop my interest further and started Lavernock Glass and Jewellery in 2021.
