Recent commission – two earring sets

In April I was commissioned to make two sets of earrings. The request was for yellow/blue and orange/blue circular earrings.

In each case opalescent glass was used. The yellow and orange glass react with the blue glass when fired in a kiln resulting in the dark line between the colours in both sets of earrings. This creates a clear boundary between the two halves of the earrings.
